Peggy attended Seattle's Brenneke School of Massage in 1995 and has been practicing since February of '96. She was the owner of her first practice called Southsound Treatment Massage where after 5 years chose to sell that and eventually open a new practice. Puyallup Integrative Massage originated in Puyallup but has since moved to Sumner, WA. Here we are integrating treatment and relaxation in one setting.
She is trained in treating patients that suffer from TMJ, frozen shoulder, back pain, plantar fasciitis, hip/sciatic pain, carpal tunnel, tendonitis, pre and post-op surgery massage, cancer recovery and support, pregnancy discomfort, overuse/repetitive stress injuries, multiple sclerosis, infant massage, sports injuries, car accidents including whiplash. But most of all she has a love for treating those who struggle with headaches and other neck injuries.
" Unfortunately, I have been in over 7 car accidents and have suffered greatly from migraines, I understand that debilitating pain one goes through during a migraine. Thankfully I no longer get migraines thanks to alternative healthcare and with the knowledge I now have, I want to help others get relief from their discomfort."
"There is not an injury I am afraid to work on due to my theory that I can learn a lot from the people I work on, if I am not familiar with it I am not afraid to ask and work with my patients to learn and do what I can as a massage therapist to help relieve tension in any muscles that might be affected. I use deep tissue, hot stones, cupping, acupressure, trigger point work, neuromuscular reeducation, myofascial release and a technique I call an AO Release to help alleviate your pain. I look forward to meeting you"
